Marvelous

Visions of an ancient land

Time’s hour glass

Shifting sand

We dance under a golden moon

Hand in hand

Forever

The music and the heat

Beat to her ancient pulse

Moving close

It’s sweet

And it’s marvelous

She dances to the music

Swaying with ancient rhythm

A girl out of fantasy

A girl out of time

She’s mine

And it’s marvelous

So marvelous

As she dances off

A bracelet drops

I hold it

Silently

To remind me

When I had

A woman like that

Who danced for me

On starry nights

Under a desert moon

In a moment that was gone

Too soon

And it was marvelous

She dances to the music

Swaying with ancient rhythm

A girl out of fantasy

A girl out of time

She’s mine

And it’s marvelous

So marvelous

She dances to the music

Swaying with ancient rhythm

A girl out of fantasy

A girl out of time

She’s mine

And it’s marvelous

So marvelous
