October kicked off with Hip Hop Legends of the Fall at NYCB Theatre at Westbury. The event included a pre-concert meet and greet with DJ Wikii, tracks by DJ Mister Cee and performances by Long Island native Rakim, Biz Markie, Doug E. Fresh, Rob Base and Big Daddy Kane. Saturday, September 27, 2014 marked LIB’s Official FIFA 15 Tournament 2014. Guest gamers Bobby of Dinner Land, along with New York Cosmos players Jimmy Mulligan and Jimmy Ockford came on board to show guests how it was done – and were blown away rather quickly by some of the youngest competition. 28 contenders on six tournament screens, Sony and the NY Cosmos.. let’s just say the competition was tight!! The reality of VH1’s Dating Naked might have been hard for some to fathom. For Long Island native Joe Pappas, however, dating in the buff just another start to a vamped-up career – even after that first episode that broadcast him naked to over 800,000 network spectators.
