Several breweries and bands are joining forces to create collaboration beers. El Segundo Brewing, an independent craft brewery from California, teamed up with the American rock band 311 to create the Come Original IPA. 311 is a mix of rock, reggae, hip-hop, and funk and the Come Original IPA has a mix of Simcoe, Mosaic, and Chinook hops. “Come Original” has tropical driven flavors, moderate bitterness, and is subtly sweet. Das Bock is New York’s Original Lager Festival featuring more than 45 breweries from New York State. Craft beers of all styles were poured, with a focus on traditional bock beers and lagers at the Plattduetsche Park Restaurant.
