Pop Punkers All Time Low just released their newest album Future Hearts. Fans who pre-ordered Future Hearts at Long Island’s Looney Tunes were invited to attend a special acoustic All Time Low performance held at Revolution Bar & Music Hall in Amityville on April 6, 2015. Concertgoers waited outside Revolution as early as 7am to guarantee a close spot near the stage for this standing-room only performance — including a group of girls who drove 7 hours from Canada just to attend this exclusive event. The gig was originally advertised as a signing and acoustic performance but later was changed…

Not even the light, Long Island snowfall (in spring, mind you) could keep fans from missing a rare opportunity to see emo legends The Get Up Kids play. The Kansas City natives graced the stage of Huntington’s Paramount for one of their two NYC-area tours since Webster Hall in 2011. Fans were thrilled about this “emo revival” and sang along to hits like “Action & Action”, “Holiday,” “Ten Minutes,” and “Red Letter Day.”
Fans cheered as New Found Glory entered the Paramount stage to the Battle Hymn of the Republic (glory glory hallelujah.) Frontman Jordan Pundik walked on stage wearing a “Robocop boot” – however, a broken foot did not stop the lead singer from delivering a high-energy performance. Pundik sang his lungs out and could be seen jumping on one foot constantly throughout the band’s performance. Bassist Ian Grushka looked slim after his recent weight loss (he is no longer “190lbs of Pimp”). In February, Ian announced he was auctioning off his old clothes for the Sara Strong campaign, a charity founded…
The Paramount in Huntington serves as the world’s 12th highest attended entertainment venue. So it was only fitting that Long Island’s own Taking Back Sunday took the stage for their 500th show on Tuesday March 24th, 2015. The lucky 500 was the band’s fourth Paramount concert in three and a half years. “We’re Taking Back Sunday and we’re from right here,” said frontman Adam Lazzara. “We don’t get to say that very often.” Taking Back Sunday played hit after hit back to back with minimal banter throughout the set minus the band pointing to their makeshift “Billy Joel style plack.”…

Briah: I believe this season of Real World truly focused on the cast as individuals and put them face to face with their past. It helped them grow as people in the end, where as other seasons mainly focused on the issues with roommates within the house. LIB: Briah why did you want to reunite with Bruno? Briah: I did…

Hannibal Buress, cohost of The Eric Andre Show on Adult Swim and cast member on Broad City on Comedy Central, packed The Space in Westbury for two back-to-back standup performances. Hannibal entered the stage and instructed his fans to put their cell phones away after he was backlashed in the media for his Bill Cosby rape segment that was uploaded by a fan to YouTube. However, here are 5 great one-liners from his show! 1) “I want to jizz on my hand and go to a palm reader and say what is this about? What do you see in my…
Marky Ramone, the drummer and only living member of the punk rock band Ramones gave LIB Magazine an exclusive interview about his new memoir Punk Rock Blitzkreig: My Life As A Ramone. What inspired your to share both the bands highs and lows in your tell all book? Marky: Well, being an inside member it was the right time because I read all the other books and this one is the most comprehensive and valid. I was in the band for 15 years and did 1700 and I was there in the 70’s. It was time to talk about the fun,…
I couldn’t help humming the song “The Whiskey Keeps Us Young” by Gameday Regulars while walking into TJ Finley’s Winter Bourbon Festival. Beer, bourbon, and BBQ enthusiasts packed into TJ Finley’s bar, biergarten, and main tent in Bay Shore for this event. Every participant received a collector glass and an event program with a QR code to navigate the whiskey guide for the festival (gotta love technology). Finley’s offered over 30 different craft beers and whiskeys to sample at the event. Attendees could also purchase cigars from Little Cigar Factory and homemade BBQ food. Whiskey wasn’t the only thing warming…
