“‘Dry Bones’ is a song about resistance, the internal conflict we face as a result, and the antidote we use to overcome it. When we were writing the treatment for the music video we wanted our protagonist to be plagued with this sentiment. Typically in life we aren’t given a forewarning prior to being whirled into a downward spiral of anxiety or depression. We just find ourselves there, and it can seem like we are playing the lead in our own sci-fi epic to overcome it,” said KIDS.
