The New Jersey vs. The World Tour featured co-headlining sets by Saves The Day and Senses Fail at The Paramount in Huntington, NY. Senses Fail and Saves The Day played both albums, “Let It Enfold You” and “Through Being Cool” in full for a sold out crowd. Both of these albums are 20 years old and still continue to be fan favorites.
Saves the Day provided a high-energy set with nostalgic favorites including All-Star Me, Holly Hox Forget Me Nots, and My Sweet Fracture. Chris Conley’s vocals were on point and fans sang along to their entire set.
Last but not least, Senses Fail hit the stage. Frontman, Buddy Nielsen made a grand entrance wearing sparkly pants, a crop top, and guyliner ready to rock. Nielsen swung the microphone, showed off his kicks and flexibility, and did summersaults, as he sang all the iconic songs from “Let It Enfold You”.
Buddy reminisced about how he played The Crazy Donkey and the Syosset Country Club back in the day on Long Island. The New Jersey native was also thrilled to be in NY where they have chicken cutlet sandwiches, something they don’t have currently where he lives in Las Vegas.
Senses Fail and Chris Conley closed out the show by singing the ”emo national anthem” a cover of Helena by My Chemical Romance. Earlier in the day My Chemical Romance announced their Long Live The Black Parade 2025 North American Stadium Tour, so the audience was thrilled to hear Buddy and Chris’s rendition.
