Underoath headlined The Blind Obedience Tour, Sunday, March 5, 2023 at The Paramount in Huntington, NY. The Blind Obedience Tour also featured Periphery and Loathe.

Underoath hit the stage with an old banger, “It’s Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Door” from their album They’re Only Chasing Safety. Even though They’re Only Chasing Safety was Underoath’s 4th studio album, it’s the record that helped them make their mark in the post hardcore and metalcore scenes. When Spencer Chamberlain joined the band in 2004 and combined his screams with Aaron Gillespie’s vocals, it was pure magic. It’s not surprising that They’re Only Chasing Safety went Gold in the United States. During the show, Underoath performed, “It’s Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Door,” “Reinventing Your Exit,” “A Boy Brushed Red Living in Black and White,” and “Down, Set, Go” from They’re Only Chasing Safety.

Underoath also showcased their newest track “Let Go“, which was released 4 days ago.
“How many of you guys know that we released a new song on Friday? By show of hands who listened to the new song? That’s like half of you guys. So the other half of you guys […] you’ve some homework to do when you leave tonight! Honestly, it came out a few days ago and we’re super excited to share a new chapter of our band,” said frontman Spencer Chamberlain.

Underoath played a solid and energetic 15 song set that had the crowd headbanging, moshing, and crowd surfing.
