We also sampled The H. Upmann Banker. I didn’t care for the Banker. The Banker has a spicier note, one I didn’t care for. The fuller-bodied cigar was crafted in the Dominican Republic with an Ecuadorian-Cubano wrapper and Nicaraguan binder. At first I placed this cigar at a 5/10, but at $10 per stick, this has trended upwards to a solid 7/10. It is a quality smoke, but just not for my taste.
Visit the guys at The Village Cigar Headquarters for the Drew Estate event in September.
