There’s nothing that excites me more than finding a new name in fashion to add to my repertoire of favorites. With my recent discovery of Gypsy Warrior, my number of best loved go-to shopping spots has just risen.
Gypsy Warrior, in the brand’s own words, is for the girls who love: Adventure, top down road trips, volume up dance parties, late city nights, dive bar whiskey drinks, beaches and bonfires, moto boots with floral dresses, tarot card days, ouija board nights, magical moments and neverending fun!
The gypsy-chic fashion destination was created by Nicla Dicosmo and Michel Bezoza, who not only launched the website together in 2010, but are also best friends. Their selection of merchandise which was inspired by rock ‘n roll, NYC street style, high fashion, and a love for vintage, exploded overnight as a hot spot for boundless fashion finds. In 2011, the ladies opened the doors to their first store located at 125 East Ridgewood Avenue in Ridgewood, New Jersey. For those of us that that are not a short car ride to their store’s location, Gypsy Warrior has an amazing website that is packed full with all of their amazing products and available for purchase.
The website offers diverse fashion, accessory and interior items that make it super easy to find something to express personal style and the best in bohemian chic with a touch of glamor. Product categories include: Into the Wild, Flower Child, Heartbreaker, Sonic Youth, Heavy Metal Holiday, She Loves Adventure and the aforementioned decor section is rather enormous.
After perusing hundreds of items, I picked a few of my favorites to share! First up: Take the Plunge Mini Dress is skimpy yet tres chic; sure to turn heads.wherever you go. Need the perfect shoe for this traffic-stopping LBD (Little Black Dress)? No problem. The shop’s Cross the Line Heels are strappy, black faux suede heels — the perfect complement to a showstopping ensemble..
Also on my list of favorites is the Essex Jumpsuit. Jumpsuits have been huge this year and this one is trendy with a side of sex appeal. There is something edgy about this one that makes me want to dress it up and show it off.
I will definitely be ordering the Maniac Friendship Bracelet; my sister and I exchange friendship bracelets every year! We currently live far apart from one another, but wear nondescript matching bracelets that we think are a great fit for our outgoing personalities. The Maniac bracelet is both fun and funky — just what we are looking for.
Lastly, I couldn’t get enough of their interior design section. I found one too many things I would like to make mine, but one piece that I will absolutely be purchasing is the Mermaid Hook which is not only delightful, but used to hang jewelry or bags (and honestly, what girl doesn’t love mermaids?)
