Gabylonia, born in Caracas, Venezuela, was introduced to hip-hop by her younger brother “Chiky” at an early age. What started off as a hobby grew to much more when Gabylonia joined group Escuadron X in 1999. After some time with the group, she decided to go solo and in 2014 was invited to participate in Hip Hop al Parque, the biggest Hip Hop en Espanol Festival in Latin America. That same year, Gabylonia was nominated for a Latin Grammy for her collaboration with the legendary Rock en Espanol group Jarabe de Palo for the song “Somos.”
