October 8th, 2014 marked the 58th anniversary of the first and only perfect game in a World Series Game in MLB history. Steiner Sports Store at Roosevelt field mall celebrated this event by having the three perfect game Yankee pitchers for a signing. Don Larsen, David Wells and David Cone greeted their many many fans with open arms. They are the only three Yankees to have pitched a pefect game: 27 up, 27 down in the batting order.

Don Larsen pitched his on Oct. 8th, 1956 versus the Brooklyn Dodgers in game 5 of the World Series. David Wells pitched his on May 17th, 1998 v. the Minnesota Twins and David Cone pitched his on July 18th, 1999 v. the former Montreal Expos.

All three Yankees perfect game pitchers are living legends. Hence why hundreds of autograph collectors gathered to get their signatures on baseballs and photos and of course, Yankee jerseys. Families went to see their heros and you could tell by some of their faces, they were simply awestruck by the trio who came together for a rare and coveted visit.
