The party god himself Andrew WK hosted his own private concert for Long Islanders at The Emporium. The rock and roll/ metal musician who also is a very accomplished pianist.
Andrew WK’s hype man Joe, came out and introduced Andrew to the crowd. Mr. WK got right on his keyboard and started off the night with his classic “Party Hard.” During the piano playing and singing there was plenty of head banging and funny dance moves.
Andrew has a crazy amount of energy and is passionate to make sure his fans party hard. A lot of great tunes were played in his 60 minute set. What made it most memorable was for the last song “Party Hard” Andrew allowed the crowd to come on stage with him and sing. This was a first for me I never saw such great crowd participation from a artist. The fans defiantly got their moneys worth in this intimate concert.
