The Beer Bacon BBQ event combined the best of the B’s–Beer, Bacon, BBQ–as well as beard oil and beautiful jewelry. The festival had plenty of beverages and food and no long lines or crowds. Festival attendees got to enjoy a sunny Saturday listening to live music and playing games such as cornhole, port-o-pong, and Street Fighter while drinking craft beer and eating exquisite food.
Fall Favorites
Coney Island Beer’s Freaktoberfest combines the fall flavors of pumpkin beer and the coffee flavors of a stout or porter. Freaktoberfest is brewed with coffee from Café Grumpy in Greenpoint, sweet pumpkin puree, allspice, cinnamon, and nutmeg. This beer will be your new fall favorite!
With the growing demand for organic products, Wolavers Organic Brewing is a must try. Wolavers Pumpkin Ale has your favorite fall flavors and is 100 percent organic. Millennials, this beer company is perfect for you!
Hemp & Hops
One of the growing trends in the craft beer industry is beer brewed with hemp. If you like the taste of hops are curious about trying this new hybrid beer be sure to try Boulder Beer Company Hazed Hoppy Session Ale, Sweet Water Beer 420, and Humboldt Brown Hemp Ale
Beer Cocktails
Crabbies was there serving up beer cocktails with ice and fresh fruit with their ginger, spiced orange, and raspberry beers.
Beer Blends
Stone Brewing Co’s Hi-Fi + Lo-Fi Mixtape beer included a “mix” of American ales with fresh and barrel-aged ales. This beer was easy to drink, did not have a harsh barrel taste, and is also 8.8 ABV!
Super powered Beer
Brooklyn Brewery was serving up their Defender IPA, a “super powered beer” created to celebrate the 10th year of the New York Comic Con and kick start New York Super Week.
Did someone say bacon?
Fudge-a-licious makes anything chocolate and bacon you can think of. The salty sweet combination of flavors is absolutely decadent.
Bespoke was serving up bacon fingers and bacon jam. Their bacon smells as delicious as it tastes and comes in a variety of flavors.
Distinkt Tees were selling catchy t-shirts perfect for beer, bacon, BBQ, and sport lovers. Their “making bacon” shirt is my favorite!
BBQ’s Best
Old Thyme Barbeque served up pulled pork, pulled pork nachos, and gumbo with rice. All the ingredients they use are from Garden of Eve Organic Farm in Riverhead. Fresh, local, organic–what’s not to love!
Willie B’s BBQ pulled pork was tender, juicy and well seasoned.
Bulls I BBQ makes a delicious BBQ chicken sandwich. Chicken lovers, this one is for you!
Beards
Attention grizzly men, there is new special beard oil and grooming kit that will help you attract the ladies. The scents of Sandalwood, Vanilla, and Honey will attract rather than repel them like the usually smelly beard oils. Your beard will be naked without it!
