Christmas weekend, Saturday December 20, 2014: Long Island’s own Billy Joel Cover band Big Shot rocked the crowd at Mulcahys Bar and Concert Hall in Wantagh. By 10pm, the place went nuts when Big Shot and Billy Joel fans waiting to hear Big Shot’s celebrated lead singer and pianist Michael Delguidice, who welcomed the crowd. The concert was a full band: Bass player, drummer, guitars, saxophone, chimes – you name the instrument, it was being utilized by these musicians. Big Shot sounded amazing and played some of their own songs, many of which were covers of Billy Joel and popular songs from the 70s. The energy from the talented musicians was amazing; the way they interacted with the crowd was equally as phenomenal. Definitely one of the best concerts I have attended this year!
