A few months back, LIB received some information about the production services company, Groove New York, from a local affiliate. After reviewing photos and specs from the Long Island business, we were eager to partner with Groove for an upcoming fashion show being held at LIB’s Media Studio in Deer Park, NY.
A few email relays and phone conferences later, we stumbled upon a roadblock, which left us to utilize more efficient options for staging our show. That’s when Tamer of Groove came to our rescue, and for the win! Recalling the (urgent!) fact that our event was near, Tamer gave us a call, checking in on the status of our fashion show, and inquiring about the materials and props that we lacked. After explaining our predicament, Tamer offered a solution: he would check out LIB’s studio and donate an LED runway for our fashion show, which happened to be scheduled for the following day.
And the fashion show was a success!
In all our gratitude, we had the pleasure of learning more about the company, and seeing their fabulous props in action, which we are sure will be the solution to your event production needs. Not a billboard star, Grammy award winner, or crowned Prince? No fuss. According to Tamer, Groove’s successes can be attributed to the fact that the business “does not target one market,” but has the capacity to customize a small, medium, or large-scale event to fit the needs of any, and all clientele.
In its five years in business, Groove, NY, has accommodated a range of events and venues, providing that extra umph for corporate events, fundraisers, fashion shows, concerts, sweet sixteens, bar and bat mitzvahs, and private celebrity events from the Hamptons to NYC, to Florida, and as far as Mexico. Yes – Mexico.
Come September 1st, the company will be headquarted in Farmingdale, NY, but what makes Groove different from other companies is that they have and will travel across international seas to bring the ultimate party to you. In addition to custom runways and stages, Groove, NY provides lighting fixtures, video screens (and video walls), audio systems, and LED dance floors.
