Method Man and Redman Perform at The Emporium Long Island

On Thursday March 19, 2015, hip hop icons Method Man and Redman put on a concert that 90’s rap fans will never forget.  With the crowd screaming chants of Wu-tang! around 1 am, The Emporium Long Island turned back time into the year 1990 with old school hip-hop heads going into frenzy.

The Hempstead-born Method Man teased the crowd before coming out, making sure the crowd knew exactly where he hailed from before making the move to Staten Island.

Like bolts of lighting, Meth and Red ran out on stage and had a staggering amount of energy, going right into there first song. After performing two songs, Method Man and Red-Man brought out fellow New York legend Keith Murray. The three went on to perform two songs together, making the crowd go crazy. Red and Meth kept the energy going by performing classic Wu-tang tracks along with classics such as “How High” and “The Roc Wilder”. It was amazing show by two insanely talent artists who seemed to possess the same energy today as they did 20 years ago.
