On March 30, 2015 the Legendary venue SOB’s in Manhattan flooded with talent from Long Island. The headliner of the show was the controversial R.A. The Rugged Man. The HipHopHeads Trio of Status, Matt Winter and D. Wise had the pleasure of opening up for R.A. for this epic evening of rap.
The Long Island-based HipHopHeads, who brought the party along with Alphamale to Amityville Music Hall this past February, had an high action and energy-fueled performance. These guys never fail to deliver and the crowd was wound up and amped for RA after the HipHopHeads performance!

Next up was the man of the hour: R.A. came out and started right into his performance. SOB’s was in a frenzy in the mix of it all, R.A. brought out legend after legend to perform.
First up was the hip hop godfather himself Grandnaster Caz followed by Rob Chill, DRES from Black Sheep, Chill Rob G, Ruste Juxx, Lord Jamar, Chris Rivers (whose father is the late Big Pun), Mr. Green and Haas G. All of the artists mentioned above went on to do a freestyle cypher which was so legendary, I felt like I was in the 90’s again.
As each artist took a bow and ended the show, it was amazing to see how many legends came out to support R.A. – showing us just to how respected this noted figure of hip hop really is.
