When TV and nightlife get together here on Long Island, amazing things happen. One of the stars of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey (RHONJ), Amber Marchese, crossed through the Verrazano Bridge and ended up in at Hicksville’s premiere Italian restaurant Mio Posto. Producer Johnny Donovan bought the beautiful Marchese to grace the red carpet as flocks of adoring fans came to see her. Marchese, who wore a stunning black dress with intricate lace work down her sleeves, came to act as brand ambassador for Mio Posto, along with as Levittown’s Royal Fitness and Ori-Gina Lashes.

So, who exactly is Amber Marchese? The reality star is a lifetime resident of the Garden State; she is a wife, mother, actress, brand ambassador and entrepreneur. Amber is also a graduate of Columbia University – a far cry from the empty-headed, fame grubbing stereotypes critics try to impose on reality stardom. Marchese’s philanthropic efforts include numerous charities involve cancer-related organizations, especially organizations to help benefit children.

We were impressed with Royal Fitness, a family owned gym located in Levittown. As many of you know, LIB Magazine LOVES family owned businesses! The difference between family and corporate is quite simply, attention to detail. Family businesses pay attention to the needs of their customer; they want to understand them. Open 24 hours a day they are there when you need them most.
In my opinion, any Italian restaurant should be judged by their Chicken Sorrentino. The combination of chicken, eggplant and prosciutto is not only complex but, if made correctly.. it is amazing. Mio Posto’s Chicken Sorrentino is out of this world. I’ve had only one version that was better and that was my mom’s.
