It’s nearly impossible to not find one, two, or more than ten different things you will love. Hand cut fries, dairy free ice cream, teriyaki chicken balls, candied corn on the cop, coal oven pizza, and a rock themed anchovy stand were a few of the many highlights of this flea market of food, so to speak.
I made two passes before deciding what to eat. The first thing I ate was maple glazed bacon from Landhaus. How could you go wrong eating bacon at a place called Smorgasburg? I had my eye on one bbq stand the whole time. It was by far the longest line in the entire market, but well worth the wait. I had a brisket sandwich so good, if I lived the rest of my life on a dessert island with only this brisket, I’d be ok. The only downside aside from the wait was the $10 price tag for a sandwich barely bigger than a big mac. So much for sailing off into brisket bliss.
