Let’s face it: Sofia Vergara might be the stunning reason you started watching Modern Family in the first place. The Colombian actress, known for her curves and hilarious role as Ed O’Neill’s PYW (Pretty Young Wife) on the show, has inadvertently managed to brew up a stir of hostility at the 66th Annual Emmy Awards. 
As the video shows, Vergara stood cooly in her Emmys outfit: A creamy white Roberto Cavalli gown that was, in essence, a bit sculptural. Sofia poised herself on a pedestal – literally – while Academy CEO Bruce Rosenblum gave a speech about how throughout history, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has continually focused on giving viewers “something compelling to watch.” ..
