July 23 was an important day for all you hot dog and food lovers; it was National Hot Dog Day! Unlike many other types of food, hot dogs (or frankfurters, turkey franks) are that great they actually get their own holiday. Why? Because franks are a MUST have for any summer cookout whether they’re meatless, made of chicken or traditional beef.. they’re always delicious either way.
