For Long Islanders who have enjoyed some of their most ambient events, dinners and even nightlife at Carlyle on the Green, there’s a brand new location in town – and it’s set to kick off in the picturesque Five Towns area of Lawrence.
That’s right, our favorite Lobster Nights and one of LI’s most noted catering venues is expanding with an impressive new venue. Carlyle operator Steve Carl recently finalized an agreement with the prestigious town’s Temple Israel, making new Carlyle of Lawrence the official caterer of the synagogue from 2014 to at least 2034.
“Carlyle of Lawrence boasts stained-glass windows in its incredible gothic sanctuary, an impressive avant-garde cocktail room with full length bars and fire and ice décor, and a magnificent ballroom with illuminated crown moldings that makes it one of the most majestic venues on Long Island for weddings, engagement parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, fundraisers, etc. Non-kosher custom catering is standard, while kosher and glatt kosher catering may be provided for any special function in collaboration with Foremost Caterers under the supervision of the Star-K.”
