Pop punk band Patent Pending, fresh of an overseas tour came back home to Suffolk County at Amityville’s Revolution. The band originated in Mount Sinai, on the North Shore. The was a very nice homecoming. Lead singer and guitar player Joe Ragosta was incredible friendly and accommodating. The audience was upbeat and excited- I never seen Revolution so packed. Machine Gun Kelly brought his “Road Trippin’ Summer Tour” to the Paramount last weekend. MGK is a 25 year old rock/rapper signed to Bad Boy records. Aaron Lewis brought Country music to Long Island this past Saturday night. Growing up I listened to Aaron in the metal group “Stained”. It is different seeing him transition to country. According to Aaron he learned how to play guitar and sing country music from his grandfather. Travis Martin opened up for Aaron and played a few great songs with his three piece band.
