The Deftones and Incubus Tour made a stop recently at Jones Beach’s Nikon Theater.
Fan were anxious for this sold out show. The packed house was ampped up. The show opened up with “Death from Above.” The duo sounded like a five or six person band. It is amazing how two people can make such great music.
Next up was the Deftones. When Chino, the Lead singer of The Deftones came out the screaming and head banging commenced before the music even played. Deftones opened up with the song “Diamond Eyes” and the crowd sang all the word along with Chino. The over 90 minutes set included all their hit over their 25 years plus of playing together.

Incubus was next and the crowd was still going strong from the Deftones action packed performance. Their set was over 90 minutes also. I loved seeing a DJ with a rock group it adds a element to a group that sets it apart. Incubus lead singer Brandon Boyd has a very unique voice and didn’t miss a beat on any of the songs. Its was amazing to see both the Deftones and Incubus not slowing down and sound just as good live as the do on their albums.

A amazing concert was over and the crowd at Nikon Theater gave all the bands a standing ovation.
