    Saint Patrick’s Day special

    0
By John Milovcic on March 16, 2016 Nightlife

March comes again and we celebrate places called County Cork, Kerry, and Mayo. We enjoy green beer, corned beef and cabbage and soda bread. This time of year bagpipes fill the night air- and its glorious. Saint Patrick’s Day comes but once a year. These are the best places to celebrate the yearly tradition.

Connolly Station- 227 4th Ave Bay Shore.

This is the place you want to be for Saint Patrick’s Day. Connolly Station is the Saint Patrick’s Day celebration all others will be compared to. They will offer a DJ, food and drink specials. Enjoy a pint of Guinness here!

Connolly Station is located across from the LIRR Bay Shore Station so it is easy access.

For those stuck in the city.

    Dead Poet- 450 Amsterdam Ave

This little hole in the wall is a gem. Yes this is an uptown place (Amsterdam between 81st and 82nd) but you will not have the clutter or price of the midtown places. If you can read the sign above the bar without the mirror; cut yourself off. Drink of choice here- The Dead Poet! 7 liquors blended together to taste like grape soda!

    Westchester

Rory Dolan’s 890 McLean Ave Yonkers

Rory Dolan is the heart of the Irish community in Westchester. Irish music all day long, drink and food specials including Irish coffee. Premium items here- Irish Sausage and Mash Potatoes.
