Lamb of God’s high-energy performance got fans pumped for Slipknot. Frontman, Randy Blithe was seen constantly headbanging and leaping across the stage during their set. Fans went crazy during “Walk With Me In Hell”, “Now You’ve Got Something To Die For”, and “Redneck”.

Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor knew just how to earn the crowds adoration and get them moshing. Taylor told the crowd to always remember that everyone in the heavy metal community is family, and that they were his family.

DSC_0332Other show highlights include percussionists Chris Fehn and Shawn Crahan, being elevated up above the stage on large rotating scissor lift. Sid Wilson vigorously danced on stage and humped the speakers when he wasn’t working the turntables. Max Weinberg transitioned well to the Slipknot family replacing longtime drummer Joey Jordison.

Slipknots fierce energy, stage production, and large community fans are proof that heavy metal music is still relevant, significant and going strong.
