    Halloquium 2020 is a queer and trans led two day virtual gathering for those who love nightlife . Converse, and connect while enjoying performances and moderated talks.

    Day One, October 31st, 2020:

    Why Nightlife?

    Event One: How has nightlife provided space for the innovative?

    1:00pm – Land Acknowledgement – Lacuna KuruKuru

    1:10pm – Opening performance – Marcy Angeles

    1:20pm – Introduction by Gavilán Rayna Russom

    1:30pm – Discussion with McKenzie Wark, C. Gypsi Lewis and Aaron Sarles moderated by Raven Baker

    2:15pm – Open Discussion in groups

    3:00pm One hour break

    Event Two: What are the special qualities of nightlife that have allowed people to build chosen families that meet their needs in better ways than other community frameworks are able to?

    4:00pm – Land Acknowledgement – Lacuna KuruKuru

    4:10pm – Opening performance – AFRO△NARCHY

    4:20pm – Introduction by Gavilán Rayna Russom

    4:30pm – Discussion with Vicki Powell and Ash Lauryn moderated by Ari/The Neighbourhood Character

    2:30pm – Discussion with Marcy Angeles, Mantra Marie Bedross and Kamra Sadia Hakim moderated by Veronica Agard

    4:00pm One hour break

    Event Two: Looking forward, how can we build self-determined structures that can meet the needs we have traditionally asked nightlife to meet?
