April 23, 2015 Legends in the hip hop game D-Block along with Wu Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah and Inspectah Deck headlined a concert at The Emporium where Ghostface had appeared earlier this year. What ensued on this semi-Spring night in Patchogue was a show of real gritty old school hip hop classics. It was a far cry from Young Thug/Iggy “swag rap” that has started to become mainstream. Even though Inspectah Deck didn’t hit the stage until nearly 1:30am, the hip hop guru made the place go wild, performing two hits amongst the crowd in addition to his presence onstage.

All three members of D-Block: Sheck Louche, Jadakiss and Styles-P brought the sound of Yonkers back to Long Island, performing almost all of their top songs – which left the crowd screaming “D-Block!” by the end of their performance.
A surprise appearance by Chris Rivers (whose father is the late Big Pun) further energized the crowd. Its about 3am now and Ghostface Killah came out with surprise guests Raekwon and Master Killa. They performed two Wu Tang hits and out came Inspectah Deck. I felt like a little kid again watching my favorite group Wu-Tang Clan rock the Emporium. The energy they had was great putting on over a hour set of Wu-Tang flavor for the fans. This concert was so hard to put into words. It was on of those you had to be there to really experience the show and all the passion and artistry the performers showed.
