    SEE Potions

By John Milovcic on June 14, 2016 Art & Music

Music transcends. Nothing speaks more to the soul than expressing our inner most desires over a guitar chords. It’s a time honored process. Long Island native SEE is doing just that.

See is a 20 year old phenom from right here on Long Island. She has been writing original music since 15! She released her first single “Potions“ this past May, and is releasing her EP June 24th.

This budding jewel is incredibly confident and is driven by success. “I’d decided I wasn’t going to go to college; I wanted to do music full time. My parents were definitely freaked out, but at the same time they were really supportive,” she explains. “One night, I gave them a big presentation outlining the paths of a bunch of successful musicians and once they had seen that, they were on board. I just showed them that I really felt confident that I could make it. I didn’t believe in having a Plan-B.”

See’s upcoming track “Potions” is a down tempo love song. Her gruff, powerful voice pairs so well with this track. I’m not sure where I would characterize this song. There are elements of Rock here, but so are elements of Trip Hop. It could work as either one- and that’s the genius of this! It crosses multi- genres.

Check out and share SEE- Potions.
