Strike Anywhere Premiere New Single “Frontier Glitch”

Strike Anywhere premiered their new single “Frontier Glitch” off Nightmares of the West, the band’s first album since 2009, that will be released on July 17th on Pure Noise Records.
‘‘Frontier Glitch’ is where the title for this record was found, the shortest and most ferocious of the songs on the record,” shares vocalist Thomas Barnett. “It’s about the lifelong project of trying to de-couple yourself from the runaway train of imperialism, exceptionalism, and all the mass psychosis that comes with dishonest histories, fake victories and the death cult of nationalism. It’s a song about peace and the only way to get it is to find our power to shut down the nations, the economies on our backs and the borders across our bodies.“
Nightmares Of The West is full of fire and fury and infuses the band’s ideological vision as political activists and musicians living in the US. The band continues to strive for something better and strives to be better themselves .
“This has to be about healing,” says Barnett. […] It’s really important to stay in the game and to feel love, and to feel like your family – and everyone and everything around you – is worth fighting for. That’s all this band has been trying to say for 20 years and counting, but it’s the project of a lifetime.“
Pre-order Nightmares of the West, out July 17th on Pure Noise Records here.
