Electronic music DJ, producer and remixer Chris “The Greek” Panaghi is one entrepreneur who has refused to allow a turbulent economic landscape hinder his business efforts.  For more than 20 years, Panaghi has watched the avante-garde transitions in music from vinyl, to CDs and the now omnipresent digital production.   Through the years, Chris has learned to adapt to an ever-changing rhythmic world that is far from stopping.

Channeling his valiant creativity combined with industry practices that are tried and true, Chris has managed to successfully branch out into various avenues of music.  The knowledgeable producer and remixer remains CEO of Amathus Music and has been an integral part of music networking conventions such as WMC and DJ Expo.  Such experiences have earned him major respect among industry peers.  Amathus is also one of few American record labels taking part in the annual MIDEM music conference in Cannes, France.  For producers of dance and electronic music, two genres that are highly popular overseas, maintaining close ties with International music industry contacts is critical.  Such relationships have enabled the Long Island-based Chris to actively connect with a worldwide audience, paying testament to Panaghi’s sharp foresight and vision of things to come.  “It’s interesting to see the change and transformation within the music industry.  I welcome new opportunities [in music and otherwise]as they present themselves.”

Panaghi’s knack for solidifying alliances within the entertainment industries has also enabled him to license his music for use in various film and television productions. Chris has most recently been worked with talented producers Zilos and Giuseppe D for collaborations soon to be released through Amathus Music.  Chris and noted producer Josh Harris also developed electronic music sensation Kosca.   The group’s latest release “Let Me Hear The Music Play” gained International acclaim after breaking onto iTunes Top 100 Dance Songs Chart at #60.  While it seems as if Panaghi can accomplish anything when it comes to music, the producer humbly sums up decades’ worth of hard work:  “I enjoy being in the studio and creating music.”

Chris “The Greek” looks consistently for new talent and further deliver chart-topping hits to fans in multiple genres worldwide.  Judging from his past accomplishments and ability to adapt to changing times, The Producer Chris Panaghi is bound to keep contributing impressive music to the world.

As a talented individual I have always been immersed in the arts. Drawing or writing, my passion for both was unwavering. Graduating from the School of Visual Arts with a degree in Media Arts and a minor in Journalism I was off and running. With the knowledge I garnered from the College, I managed to create my own caricaturists’ business. To this day I am still receiving calls for all sorts of parties. My talents of creating comical profiles of people at events have been very profitable. When it comes to my writing I have been published in many online and print magazines. Since I come from a Greek background my first writing gig was with a major Greek publication entitled National Herald. The experience with this newspaper helped me branch out to others similar to it, like the Hellenic Times. Eventually I decided to expand my skills to the mainstream market. Hence, I came in contact with online publications like www.entertainmentworld.com , www.avenue1online.com ,www.skopemagazine.com and www.mobcandymag.com . I am also the editor of MCM. The magazine Mob Candy is an entertainment publication whose back bone is peppered with gangster stories. Since I was and still am a “mob buff” I fit in perfectly with this publication. In addition to all the press work I have also penned my own novel “Destinies” which is being shopped to publishing houses as of this writing. Besides that I am also working on the biography of alleged Greek mafia boss Spyredon Velentzas. Although I have made these strides with my God given talent I am always in search of building more bridges. In the entertainment industry there are no limits of what one can accomplish. My biggest goal presently is to see my book published and to keep building my writing portfolio. Please feel free to browse the different areas of my website from the gallery to the services I offer.
