Pop punk band Patent Pending, fresh of an overseas tour came back home to Suffolk County at Amityville’s Revolution. The band originated in Mount Sinai, on the North Shore. The was a very nice homecoming.
Lead singer and guitar player Joe Ragosta was incredible friendly and accommodating. The audience was upbeat and excited- I never seen Revolution so packed.
Patent Pending went right into their first song “I Already Know.” Ragosta started stage diving- twice! It was amazing to see this lead singer crowd surfing with mic firmly in his hand. This was just the first song! Fans started following Ragosta’s lead and started stage diving and crowd surfing. Both the band and the fans had amazing energy.
Song and song Patent Pending didn’t lose any momentum. All the members were jumping around the stage and just being very active. Patent Pending sounded as good live as they do in their albums.
I personally loved the acoustic songs Joe sung at the end. This showed me the band has a mellow side as well. Everyone left the show happy.
